Accused journalist identifies himself as Saha speaks to BCCI probe panel

Indian wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha, who was allegedly threatened by a journalist for not giving an interview, on Saturday said he has revealed everything to a BCCI committee examining the matter.
Also late in the evening, Boria Majumdar in a twitter video recognized himself as the one charged by Saha.

A three-member council met Saha here on Saturday to test into the 37-year-old’s charges against the anonymous journalist.

“I have told the committee everything I know. I have shared all the details with them. I can’t tell you much right now. BCCI has asked me not to talk about the meeting outside as they will answer all your queries,” said Saha.

Later in the night Boria Majumdar posteda 9-minute video. He claims that Saha has “doctored” the whatsapp screen captures of the chats he had with him.

Majumdar likewise said that hewill be filing a defamation against the wicket-keeper batter.A centrally contracted player, Saha had posted a progression of tweets on February 23 to make the charge, following which the BCCI started a test into the matter.

Everything started after the 37-year-old was overlooked for the continuous Sri Lanka series. Saha, in an explosion, revealed some dressing room conversations with Rahul Dravid.

He said that he was told by Dravid in South Africa that he was presently not in the plan of things.
