Argentina plays Croatia in the semi-finals of the World Cup on Tuesday.
When: Tuesday, December 14, 12:30 am

Croatia
After losing to France in the 2018 World Cup final, Croatia is now in their second straight World Cup semifinal. They have won all four penalty shootouts they have participated in so far in their history, giving them a perfect record in those situations as well.
The latest goal Croatia has ever scored in a World Cup game was Bruno Petkovic’s equaliser against Brazil in the quarterfinal in the 117th minute. In that game, it was also their first shot on goal.
Croatia will attempt to become the first nation to reach consecutive finals since Brazil in 2002.
Argentina
Lionel Messi, the captain of Argentina, wants to reach his second World Cup final after his team was defeated by Germany in 2014. The only significant trophy missing from his collection, which also includes all major club and national team victories, is the World Cup trophy.
Argentina lost their opening match of the tournament to Saudi Arabia, but they have since allowed just three goals in four games to advance to the semifinals for the sixth time.
They have finished in second place three times and have won the championship twice, in 1978 and 1986.
