The fixtures for the initial 11 rounds of the Indian Super League 2021-22 season were announced on Monday.
The first match is between ATK Mohun Bagan and Kerala Blasters, booked on 19th November and the eagerly awaited derby between SC East Bengal and Mohun Bagan will take place on 27th November.
This season will present a late 9:30 pm start off for its Saturday double headers. The ordinary work day plan stays unaltered with matches starting off at 7:30 pm.
As per a media release: “The season once again returns to Goa’s three iconic stadiums this winter, featuring 115 games. The first instalment of the schedule announced on Monday runs until January 9, 2022.”
Having missed a record title run just barely, last season’s finalists ATK Mohun Bagan will get down to business with Kerala Blasters FC on the initial game night to begin another mission. SC East Bengal will begin their run into the opposition on November 21 against Jamshedpur FC.
Champions Mumbai City FC would test a restored FC Goa strength as right on time as November 22, in quite possibly the most super charged rivalry arising in the tournament.
The remaining of the ISL fixtures will be reported in December 2021. Just like last season, all 115 games will be played across Goa’s three stadiums within a bio bubble this season too.
