Cricket Australia affirmed they would hold same squad for the rest of the Ashes series on Monday as the hosts moved really close to asserting a 2-0 lead in the five-match series against England.
Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood will get back to the squad on Thursday for third test at Melbourne Cricket Ground after missing the second match in the series in Adelaide.
Cummins was administered out of the Adelaide pink ball test as the aftereffect of being a nearby contact of a COVID-19 case and got back to New South Wales to serve a time of isolation.
Hazlewood missed the second test with a side strain supported in the first Test in Brisbane, which the hosts won by nine wickets.
Debutant Michael Neser and Jhye Richardson supplanted the duo in the bowling attack for Adelaide yet there was no eased up in Australia’s control of the series.
