Cristiano Ronaldo reached another milestone in his incredible career on Sunday, scoring his 700th club goal to push Manchester United ahead of Everton in the Premier League on October 9.
The experienced forward, who has struggled for minutes under new United coach Erik ten Hag, came off the bench in the first half at Goodison Park for the injured Anthony Martial, putting his club ahead 2-1 — 14 minutes later.

It took him 20 years and two days to reach the milestone of 700 goals for Sporting Lisbon as a skinny adolescent. He now has ten more club goals than his adversary Lionel Messi.
It was Ronaldo’s 144th goal for United in two seasons, adding to his five for Sporting, 450 for Real Madrid, and 101 for Juventus.
“It is tough still counting goals for Ronaldo because every week seems like a new record,” fellow Portugal international Bruno Fernandes told BT Sport.
“I am really happy because he has been working hard to get this goal. Today he got the goal and the win and that is the most important for him, that the team won.”
