Contributing with 35 off 29 balls was Ravindra Jadeja.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, a seasoned seamer for India, bowled well, recording 4 for 26.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar (4/26) was at the top of his game and took four wickets, including the coveted Babar Azam (10). However, during the middle phase, Hardik’s enviable numbers of 3 for 25 in four overs led to a Pakistani batting collapse.
In his first-ever debut in an Indo-Pak match, young seamer Arshdeep Singh also produced respectable figures of 2 for 33 as all 10 wickets were taken by pace merchants, a first for India in the shortest version.
Former captain Virat Kohli scored 35 off 34 balls for India during the chase. With stats of 2/27, Naseem Shah was Pakistan’s best bowler.
