Discus thrower Kamalpreet Kaur has been temporarily suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit subsequent to testing positive for a prohibited steroid.
Kamalpreet Kaur faces the possibility of being banned for four years assuming she is viewed as guilty.
“The AIU has provisionally suspended discus thrower Kamalpreet Kaur of India for the Presence/Use of a Prohibited Substance (Stanozolol), a breach of the @WorldAthletics Anti-Doping Rules,” the governing body said.

The 26-year-old from Punjab has been given a notification of charge by AIU, an independent body set up by World Athletics.
