On his dream debut for Manchester United, Antony scored, and Marcus Rashford’s two goals propelled the Red Devils to a 3-1 victory on Sunday that broke Arsenal’s undefeated start to the Premier League season.
Antony was making his debut after joining United manager Erik ten Hag’s old team Ajax on Thursday in an £82 million ($94 million) transfer.

Full of flips, trickery, and deliberate movement, the 22-year-old forward gave his new Old Trafford supporters a stunning debut in just 35 minutes by scoring.
Arsenal responded to tie the score with Bukayo Saka, but Rashford stunned the league’s top team by scoring twice in as many second-half minutes after Cristiano Ronaldo took Antony’s place.
United was able to celebrate a fourth straight victory, moving them up to fifth place, thanks to Antony and Rashford.
“He will be a threat in the Premier League. We were missing a player on the right wing, Sancho and Rashford can play there but they prefer the left so now we have the missing link who can play well on the right. He did well but I think he can do better. He had a great goal but all the goals were team goals,” said Ten Hag.
