Edidiong Joseph Umoafia of Nigeria, who lifted 290 kg (130 kg + 160 kg), won bronze.

The 19-year-old from Aizwal set the Games records for the clean and jerk (300 kg) and snatch (140 kg), but not before he twice grimaced in pain during the lifts.

Jeremy and Edidiong, his closest competitor, now separated themselves by a staggering 10 kg.
