A total of 405 cricket players are scheduled to be auctioned off at the IPL 2023 Player Auction in Kochi on December 23, 2022. From the initial list of 991 players, a total of 369 players were shortlisted by 10 teams.
A total of 405 players will be offered at the IPL 2023 Auction after 36 additional players were requested by teams and added to the final list.
273 of the 405 players are Indian, 132 are from abroad, and 4 are from associate countries. There are 119 total capped players, 282 uncapped players, and 4 players from associate countries.
There are currently 87 slots total, 30 of which are reserved for players from abroad.
The highest reserve price is INR 2 crore, with 19 players from abroad choosing to be included in the top bracket.
With a starting bid of INR 1.5 crore, 11 players are included in the auction list. The two cricketers from India with base salaries of INR 1 crore are Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal.
The Auction will start at 14:30 IST.
