The prowess of Harshita was for everyone to see at the Asian Junior Cycling Championships 2025, where she came out as one of India’s standout performers. Competing against Asia’s junior cyclists at the elite stage, she secured five medals across different events:
Silver in the Indian pursuit:
She put on a show, her speed and endurance, finishing with a time record of 3:48.478 minutes.
Silver in Individual Point race:
The race where she demonstrated her tactical intelligence, she put up 405 points to secure the second silver medal.
Bronze in Individual Time trial:
She added another medal in her career, with a time of 1:12.848 minutes in that race.
Bronze in Team pursuit:

The 43rd Asian Track Cycling Championships that was held at New Delhi, she continued winning medals in the field of cycling:
Silver in Individual Pursuit:
She put up a brilliant performance, where she missed the gold medal barely to Kazakhstan’s Mariya Yelkina.
Bronze in Team pursuit:
She contributed immensely to the team’s success, she added another bronze medal to her tally.
Bronze in Madison event:
She partnered with Dhanyadha JP, the duo showcased immense dedication and use of strategy, where she finished behind two big and strong teams in Kazakhstan and Korea.
Her father, Rakesh Kumar, was immensely proud where he also expresses that he was lucky to see his daughter win medals at the field of which once he was a part of. He also stated that his daughter had defeated him today and there would be no greater day than that
