Indian and Sri Lankan team have paid tribute the Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne with a minute of silence after he tragically died.
The Australian legend passed away due to a ‘suspected heart’ failure in Koh Samui, Thailand yesterday.
The two teams reacted to the disastrous news by paying tribute to him, before play continued during day two of their first Test match in Mohali.
Shane Warne’s international career spanned of 15 years after he made his debut in 1992. Despite the fact that Warne’s debut was unremarkable, the late cricketer filled in height and featured Australia’s strength across forms. His 708 Test wickets at 25.41 are the second-highest in the format, close to Muttiah Muralitharan’s 800.
