Romelu Lukaku’s remarks on being disappointed with life at Chelsea are “unhelpful” and will draw in superfluous attention, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel said on Friday.
Romelu Lukaku told Sky Italy know that he is unhappy with Thomas Tuchel’s framework while additionally conceding he might want to get back to Serie A side Inter Milan eventually in his profession.
“We don’t like it of course. It brings noise that we don’t need and it’s not helpful. We don’t want to make more out of it than it actually is,” Thomas Tuchel told reporters ahead of Chelsea’s match against Liverpool.
“It is easy to take lines out of context, shorten lines, make headlines and then realise later that it is not so bad.
“We can take the time to try and understand what is going on because it does not reflect the daily work, attitude and behavior which Romelu shows here at Cobham.”
Romelu Lukaku left Inter Milan in August and got back to Chelsea briefly spell in a deal worth a club record 97.5 million pounds ($131.78 million).
