James Anderson who was aged 42 took retirement from International Cricket In July 2024 after he served the nation for 21 years. He has the record as England’s all time leading wicket taker in Tests with 704 wickets, leading to being the most successful fast bowler in Test cricket and being third overall in the list behind Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne. Anderson made his Test debut in 2003 at Lord’s. He appeared 188 times in Test cricket and is second to only Sachin Tendulkar’s 200 Test appearances.
