Manchester City squashed Leeds United 7-0 at the Etihad Stadium to make it seven Premier League wins consecutively and they move four points clear at the top of the points table.
Leeds were just dismissed by a City side who were at their absolute best later they required an eighth minute lead through Phil Foden.
Phil Foden sored the opening goal, later Leeds manager Illan Meslier had come out to stop Rodri, for the 500th Premier League goal scored by the club in 207 games under Pep Guardiola the quickest any team has arrived at that milestone.
Marcelo Bielsa, could never really stop a wild City and his team’s totally wide-open approach positively did practically nothing to help.
After five minutes the lead was multiplied when Jack Grealish met an inswinging cross from Riyad Mahrez with a header which streaked past Leeds.
Kevin De Bruyne made it 3-0, showing pace and a clinical completion, as he hooked on to a fine through ball from Rodri.
It was down over at the break however City showed no interest in dialing down and Leeds couldn’t adapt to Guardiola’s side in top form.
