Team management not at all 'worried' about Kohli's form: Rohit Sharma
Indian white-ball skipper Rohit Sharma has announced that the team management “is not at all worried” about Virat Kohli’s batting form.

Guarding Virat Kohli’s century drought, Rohit highlighted Kohli’s half-centuries in South Africa last month, saying he needn’t bother with any certainty or help from outside.

Rohit Sharma’s remarks came after India’s pounding 3-0 ODI whitewash of West Indies on Friday.

Virat Kohli oversaw scores of 8 (4), 18 (30) and 0 (2). This was the first time in more than seven years that the 33-year-old neglected to go beyond 50 runs in an ODI series. In a post-match press conference, Rohit Sharma was asked how the management was helping Virat Kohli to boost his confidence.

He playfully rubbished the query and said they were never worried about his form.

“Does Virat Kohli need confidence? What are you talking about? I think not scoring 100 is a different thing he played a series in South Africa and scored two fifties in three matches. I don’t see anything wrong. And the team management is not at all worried,” said Rohit Sharma.

“What we were worried about was, you know, how we will be challenged in the middle overs and I thought our middle overs batting in this series was really good.”
