The Champions League final kick-off has been delayed because of disarray outside the Stade de France. The arena broadcaster announced at 8.46pm local time – 14 minutes before start off – that the start of the game had been deferred.
Many Liverpool fans were trapped in queues endeavoring to enter the arena and marked the circumstance a “nightmare”.
A message on big screens around the arena read: “Due to an security issue the match has been delayed. Further information will follow in 15 minutes.”
Later it was announce that it has been delayed by 36 minutes. The match is expected to start off at 9:36pm local time (1:06am IST)
A sloppiness implied there were shambolic scenes outside the Stade de France. Long lines framed and the Liverpool end was perceptibly sketchy not exactly thirty minutes before start off as allies attempted to get in.

A couple of ticketless fans were seen attempting to get to the Stade de France, a long-lasting wall being set up around the edge. UEFA accused the “late arrival of fans”, in spite of the reality many got up to speed in the lines had shown up two hours or more before start off and battled to acquire passage to the arena in time.

“It is so sad and obviously everything has to be military precision out there. We don’t know what’s gone on, but it is sad to hear,” said Michael Owen.
