After losing their earlier practise match against Western Australia, India bounced back with a six-run victory over Australia in the first warm-up match in Brisbane on Monday. India, who were requested to bat first, got off to a flying start, led by KL Rahul. The opener hit a half-century off just 24 balls before being dismissed on 57.
It all started with a superb run-out to get rid of the dangerous Tim David, but what happened next captivated the audience. Kohli took a one-handed screamer to dismiss Pat Cummins in the final over of the Australian chase, delivered by Mohammed Shami.

Soon after the stunning catch, Kohli was trending on Twitter, and the footage of the incident quickly became viral on the internet. The video was uploaded on Instagram by the T20 World Cup’s official page, with the caption: “A fielding masterclass from Virat Kohli in Brisbane.”
Suryakumar Yadav also contributed with another key effort, smashing 50 off 33 balls as India amassed a massive 186/7 total. In response, the hosts got off to a similarly strong start, with skipper Aaron Finch leading the run chase. However, just when India appeared to be losing control of the match, Virat Kohli made the difference with his flawless fielding.
