Question: You have performed very well in this tournament but your form wasn’t that good in the U-19 T20 World Cup which happened earlier that India won. So, what changes have you made in your game due to which you are performing so well in this tournament?

“I don’t think that my form was bad in that tournament because I hardly got chances to bat over there and whenever I got chances, I tried to give my best,” said Indian wicket-keeper batter Richa Ghosh.

“I spent a lot of time focusing on my game over there and I wanted our team to win the World Cup so that we can take that confidence coming into this tournament. So, whatever I wanted is happening and we are moving forward with that.”

Question: My second question is that as we all know, Australia is a very strong team. So for tomorrow’s game, what do you think will be a total which can challenge Australia if India bats first and what will be a total under which the Indian bowlers will like to restrict Australia if your team bowls first?

“We had a look at the pitch but we don’t know how it will behave tomorrow. The pitch is looking good so we can target at least 180 at this pitch if all our batters get clicked.

“In bowling, we will try to restrict them around 140-150 because they have a strong batting line-up, so we will try to do that,” she concluded.
