Spinner Wanindu Hasaranga got a five-wicket haul after captain Faf du Plessis’ effective 50 runs as Royal Challengers recorded a 67-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad to help their play-off hopes in the IPL.
Selecting to bat on a sluggish surface, du Plessis drove from the front with a 50-ball 73 not out, while Dinesh Karthik (eight-ball 30 not out) gave the late thrive as RCB conquered a restless begin to post 192/3.
